Shae Sawyer

After sitting on the couch for over 15 years, eating Cheetos and drinking Mt Dew, in a classic mid-life crisis fashion nearing 40 years old, I decided to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I visited multiple gyms looking for the perfect training spot, one that fit my large check list of needs and wants. After meeting my instructor Casey Millikin, my check list no longer mattered. He was an experienced cage fighter, a high level Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner, and most of all, he had an amazing attitude. For the last 6 months I have trained with Casey 2 to 3 times a week, and there is not a day that I regret my decision to join his Gym. His level of instruction, detail, explanation and most of all, his patience, has not only renewed my love for training, but has also inspired me to grow beyond my initial expectations.
